On the Chronological Framework for Indian Culture

by Prof. Subhash Kak

This paper (which appeared in the Journal of the Indian Council of Philosophical Research, 2000, pp. 1-24) throws important new insights into the vexed issue of the chronology of ancient India. Prof. Subhash Kak, a well-known Indologist and expert in computer science teaching at Oklahoma State University, brings in evidence from literary sources and archaeology, among other disciplines, and proposes a fresh perspective.
