IFIH’s organizational base

IFIH’s structure has three levels:

     
 
1.

the body of founder members, who act as moral guarantors and general advisers;

 

 

 
2.
 

the body of life members, who act as patrons and support or participate in IFIH’s activities;

 

 

 
3.

the board of trustees, who direct IFIH’s activities and administrative matters.

 

IFIH is a public charitable (i.e., non-profit) trust registered in New Delhi in December 2001. Donations to it from India are exempted from income tax under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act; IFIH is also authorized to receive donations from abroad (under FCRA).

 

IFIH’s present trustees are:

     
   

Prof. Kapil Kapoor, author, former professor of English and at the Centre for Sanskrit Studies, J.N.U., and former rector, J.N.U.

   

 

 

Prof. Bharat Gupt, associate professor, University of Delhi, author and cultural analyst

   

 

   

P. R. Krishnakumar, exponent of Ayurveda, managing director of Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore)

   

 

   

M. Pramod Kumar, assistant professor & coordinator, Cultural Education, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Deemed University), Coimbatore
